Unimatic & Apollo Quick Start (you can print this out for easier viewing)

VB2000 gives you quick access to the Unimatic commands you need. To select command for automatic use just click on the command. In the above picture CALREC for February and PAYREC for January are selected. Navigating between area in vb2000 is quick and easy with the new Tab layout. Note the mailbox picture on the Enote Tab, this is telling you there are unread enotes available.

You can customize vb2000 by removing commands that you do not use. In the above picture all commands have been hidden except for CALREC, UNCOV and Denver Wx.
Notice the Denver Wx command. The wrench symbol means that you added this command. You can add as many different user-defined-commands as you like. To add a command, right mouse-click anywhere on the vb2000 Unimatic window. To edit or modify your commands right mouse click on the command. As with any vb2000 command, just click on it to use it for that session.

Most command will change to the icon when clicked. Some commands will open a new window to let you select your preferences.

Select the current vb2000 user from this easy to reach dropdown box. You will notice the Sign On button is available from any Tab.

Vb2000 is built around the Windows Explorer look as seen below

The Enote, Report, Bids and Print/View Tabs have there own Explorer. Each Explorer has standard folders on the left and documents on the right. There is no limit on the number of folders you can add. Folder are used to organize your documents. Documents in these case are Enotes. Documents can be dragged and dropped into any folder. Documents can be rename or copied. You can preview the contents of a documents by holding the mouse over the document title. This lets you quickly skim though your data faster than ever before.
Each Tab has a standard of buttons; New Folder, Delete, Rename and Copy. Some have extra buttons. The Enote Tab has an address button and a New Enote button.
The documents can be sorted by clicking on the Title or Date column. Each window is resizable and will remember it's last position.

Built in spellchecker for Enotes, Reports and Tech support messages

The above picture is the Enote window where you create UAL Enotes. As you can see the misspelled words are turned red as are double words. What you can not see are words like "t eh" as they are instantly corrected to "the".
You can add as many enotes address as you like. Use only the Filenumber or select from the Address Book. If you are sending many enotes and some are misaddress all the correctly addressed Enotes will be sent and the other will stay in vb2000.

Apollo

Commands created on the left will be displayed on the right pane.
You can create as many commands such as load searches and listing as you need. Click on the command to change its picture in the picture so the command will be used that session.

Load are color coded to make it easy to find just the right flight for you.
There are two main ways to view the data, in Open view and Sold View.

Open view:
Tot= the total number of seat available in that section
Open = the number of seats open in that section
Nrsa= the total number of seats open in that section if Non-Revs are included

Sold View
Seats= the total number of seat available in that section
Sold = the total number of seats sold in a section
Listed= the total number of Non-Revs in a section

Unimatic

There are many online features to vb2000. When the mouse is over a click-able area it turns into pointing hand to let you know you are in the correct spot. In this example the fight number was clicked. In addition to being able to click on many areas of the terminal to popup information you can move the cursor around with a click of the mouse. You no longer need to use the tab key to move around the Unimatic window.

Here is a list of click-able items.

Flight Numbers, Ids from CALREC or DSPLOF, Open ids, Any DIS* command, any line that start with the SOM ";" symbol, Layovers, DSPREQ and maybe a few others. Clicking on the block cursor in the terminal window sends ENTER from that spot. You might never need to type online again.

There are two screens in the vb2000 terminal. The top is the active screen for typing and the bottom for review and more clicking. The terminal is sizable, just drag the edge of the window bigger or smaller.
